To Adopt a Confederate:

Contact Adoption Coordinator John Ross via email (Click John’s name.) or via U.S. postage at:

2104 Dalewood Court

Timonium, MD 21093

as soon as possible.  If you use email, please enter "Adopt a Confederate" in the subject line.  Emails without this phrase in the subject line might not reach John.

Choose the Confederate(s) you would like to adopt from the list found below.  Make John aware of your interest in adopting a Confederate.  John will be able to provide the most up to date information concerning which Confederates are still available for adoption.  Adoptions become official upon receipt of the necessary donation.  It is possible that your selection has been recently adopted and this fact is not yet reflected in the available list.

Make your tax-deductible $200.00 donation out to The Col. Harry W. Gilmor Camp.  Please note on the check that the donation is for the Adopt-a-Confederate Program.  Include the name(s) of the Confederates buried on Confederate Hill that you wish to adopt.  If you are adopting a Confederate on behalf of an organization or group, please include that information as well.

Send the check to Adoption Coordinator John Ross via U.S. postage at:

2104 Dalewood Court

Timonium, MD 21093

The stones will be 12” x 12” Georgia Granite.  Each stone will indicate the name and unit of the Confederate who was adopted when that information is available.

In making your selection, please keep in mind that our primary goal is to mark the graves of those veterans without readable markers first.
