Directions to West Annapolis Firehall
(121 Jennifer Road)
From Downtown Annapolis (Rowe Blvd.)
- Head out of town on Rowe Boulevard. This becomes Bestgate Road after you cross under the Route 50 overpass.
- Turn left onto Admiral Drive.
- Turn right onto Jennifer Road.
- The Firehall is on your left just after you turn onto Jennifer Road. There is a flashing traffic light at the entrance.
From West Annapolis (West Street or Forest Drive)
- Head out of town on West Street (you can use Chinquapin Round Road to cut over to West Street if coming from Forest Drive). West Street becomes Generals Highway after you cross Solomons Island Road.
- Turn right onto Jennifer Road at the Jennifer Road traffic light. This intersection is immediately before you would pass the Annapolis Mall. Jennifer Road runs along one side of the Mall.
- Proceed 0.8 miles to the Firehall which will be on your right. There is a flashing traffic light at the entrance.
From East of Annapolis, Ritchie Highway, or the Eastern Shore (Route 50)
- Get onto westbound Route 50 and proceed across the Severn River Bridge.
- Take Exit-23 which is marked "Route 2 South/Jennifer Road" (it is also marked "Solomons Island Road"). This is the second interchange (third exit) after the Severn River Bridge.
- The ramp splits as you go around a curve. Bear right in the direction marked "Jennifer Road".
- The ramp ends at a traffic light. Turn right onto Jennifer Road.
- The Firehall is just a short distance and will be on the right side of the road. There is a flashing traffic light at the entrance.
From Crownsville (Generals Highway or Defense Highway)
- Stay on Generals Highway until you reach the Annapolis Mall.
- Immediately after passing the Mall, turn left at the traffic signal for Jennifer Road.
- Proceed 0.8 miles to the Firehall which will be on your right. There is a flashing traffic light at the entrance.
From West of Annapolis (Route 50) or from Interstate 97
- Get onto eastbound Route 50.
- Get off at the exit for the Annapolis Mall.
- At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Generals Highway.
- Turn right onto Jennifer Road at the Jennifer Road traffic light. This intersection is immediately before you would pass the Annapolis Mall. Jennifer Road runs along one side of the Mall.
- Proceed 0.8 miles to the Firehall which will be on your right. There is a flashing traffic light at the entrance.
From South of Annapolis (Solomons Island Road/Route 2)
- Get onto northbound Solomons Island Road (Route 2 North).
- Turn left onto Generals Highway (Route 450 West).
- Turn right onto Jennifer Road at the Jennifer Road traffic light. This intersection is immediately before you would pass the Annapolis Mall. Jennifer Road runs along one side of the Mall.
- Proceed 0.8 miles to the Firehall which will be on your right. There is a flashing traffic light at the entrance.
