2006 Capt. Henry Wirz ceremony at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Washington D.C. 2006 Remembrance Day Parade in Gettysburg On March 6, the Maryland Division Color Guard presented the colors at the Confederate Navy Day ceremony at St. Anne's Cemetery in Annapolis.
The Maryland Division Color Guard presented the colors at the Silver Spring Remembrance Day of the 140th Anniversary of Jubal Early's attack on Fort Stevens. Five camps joined together to form the Color Guard for this event. Maryland Division Color Guard marches the historic Pickett, Pettigrew,Trimble charge field in Gettysburg on the Battle of Gettysburg Anniversary, July 3, 2004. Union descendants waited at the 'Angle' and a 'hands across the wall' ceremony would take place. Remembrance Day 2008: The Maryland Division Color marching in the Annual Remembrance Day parade in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. At the end of the parade the Color Guard participates in the ceremony at the Angle, and finishes with a ceremonial march around and then a circle of flags around the Maryland Monument, which was dedicated by the Maryland Division Color Guard in 1994.
